Livio does not sell or rent user data.

Livio does not share user data with outside parties except to provide, secure, support, improve, or comply with legal obligations for the service, or when you direct us to share it.

Livio may use user data, searches, inputs, feedback, usage signals, and outputs to improve Livio's own tools and products.

Livio avoids public disclosure of identifiable client, project, or site-specific information unless approved, already public, or legally required.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Livio Building Systems Inc. collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects information when you access or use Livio Power, including the website, application, accounts, alerts, emails, exports, APIs, AI-assisted features, support channels, and related workflows.

This Privacy Policy should be read together with the Terms of Service at /terms.

2. Information we collect

  • Account and contact information, such as email address, name if provided, company context if provided, sign-in status, and accepted legal-policy versions.
  • User-provided content, such as searches, prompts, sites, coordinates, project parameters, notes, feedback, reviewer emails, invite messages, challenge notes, support requests, uploaded or pasted information, and export requests.
  • Usage and device information, such as pages viewed, actions taken, features used, timestamps, referring pages, browser type, device type, IP-derived approximate location, logs, errors, performance data, and security signals.
  • Generated and derived information, such as scores, tiers, dossiers, exports, evidence summaries, confidence labels, saved sites, watchlists, shortlist records, and operational analytics created from your use of the service.
  • Communications, such as emails, support messages, product feedback, commercial inquiries, and administrative messages.

3. How we use information

  • Provide, operate, authenticate, maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and support the service.
  • Generate site screens, ranked results, dossiers, alerts, exports, summaries, evidence notes, utility questions, and other requested workflows.
  • Improve data quality, source coverage, scoring logic, AI-assisted workflows, product experience, reliability, analytics, and Livio's own tools and products.
  • Communicate with you about sign-in links, account access, service messages, product updates, support, security, legal notices, commercial inquiries, and requested follow-ups.
  • Protect against fraud, misuse, abuse, security incidents, unauthorized access, and unlawful activity.
  • Comply with legal obligations, enforce agreements, resolve disputes, and protect rights, safety, property, and the integrity of the service.

4. Use for product improvement

Livio may use account information, searches, User Content, usage data, feedback, generated outputs, and operational telemetry to improve and develop Livio's own tools, products, scoring systems, prompts, agents, source connectors, data quality processes, and user experiences.

Livio may create and use aggregated, statistical, or de-identified information for analytics, benchmarking, quality assurance, research, product development, and business operations. Where information is de-identified, Livio will maintain and use it in de-identified form except where reidentification is required by law or necessary to investigate security, fraud, or abuse.

5. How we disclose information

Livio does not sell or rent your personal information. Livio also does not disclose identifiable client, project, company, or site-specific information for public marketing without approval, except where the information is already public or disclosure is legally required.

  • Service providers: hosting, database, email, analytics, AI, security, support, and infrastructure providers that help us provide and improve the service and are expected to protect information.
  • At your direction: people or organizations you invite, share with, export to, or otherwise direct Livio to contact or notify.
  • Legal, safety, and security: regulators, courts, law enforcement, advisors, or third parties where we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with law, enforce rights, prevent harm, protect security, or investigate misuse.
  • Business transfers: parties involved in a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar transaction, subject to appropriate protections.
  • Aggregated or de-identified information: information that does not reasonably identify you may be used or disclosed for the purposes described in this policy.

6. Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain accounts, preserve watchlists or dossiers, comply with legal obligations, enforce agreements, maintain security, resolve disputes, improve the service, and support legitimate business operations. Retention periods may vary by data type and context.

If you ask us to delete information, we will take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it unless retention is needed for legal, security, operational, backup, dispute, fraud-prevention, or legitimate business reasons.

7. Security

Livio uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No online service, database, or transmission method is completely secure, and Livio cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for protecting access to your email account, devices, and any links or exports you share.

8. Choices and rights

You may contact [email protected] to request access, correction, deletion, export, or other privacy assistance. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws. We will respond as required by applicable law.

You may unsubscribe from non-essential marketing messages where an unsubscribe method is available. We may still send transactional, security, service, account, or legal messages.

9. Children

Livio Power is intended for business and professional use and is not directed to children. Do not use the service if you are under 16. If you believe a child provided information to Livio, contact [email protected].

10. Processing location

Livio is based in the United States and may process and store information in the United States or other locations where Livio, its service providers, or infrastructure providers operate. If you access the service from outside the United States, you understand that information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.

11. Changes and contact
